The ISMS leadership team is comprised of four principal mining experts who are recognized leaders in the mining industry.  The leadership group is backed up by several key mine development specialists and an outstanding administrative and accounting team. In turn, our leaders and managers are supported by experienced miners who respect one another and the exceptional and safe working environment offered by ISMS.

Under the leadership of Lorenzo Ceballos, President & Director General, the ISMS leadership team translates the expertise of three mining experts with progressively challenging industry experiences, exceptional references, and “earned and learned” educational experiences into a complete team of mine engineering, management and operations specialists.


Lorenzo Ceballos, President/Director General

Lorenzo Ceballos - President / General DirectorLorenzo Ceballos’ executive career brings over 30 years of challenging leadership roles throughout the global mining industry.  As an experienced senior manager he has established himself as a hands-on team player.  He has achieved numerous recognitions and has made quantifiable accomplishments to company revenues and production goals.

His professional experience includes contributions to global mining companies including Gammon Lake Resources, Barrick Gold Inc., Echo Bay Minerals, and Gilbert/Dynatec. He has held senior positions such as Vice President, General Manager, Superintendent, and Technical Advisor. His driven approaches towards operational responsibilities include mining startups of underground development and production of various metal mines, engineering and planning, quality control, and consulting guidance.  Currently, Lorenzo has successfully lead ISMS into building another world class silver gold project located at Coeur Mexicana Palmarejo Project in Mexico. Lorenzo understands the importance of dedication towards safety and environmental issues resulting in high productivity hand in hand. 

Overall, Lorenzo Ceballos is a highly motivated diverse leader who provides practical guidance to the development and executive teams.  He is fluent in Spanish, some Swahili and has proven himself valuable for cultural countries.


Paul Icent Brown, Director of Operations

Paul Icent Brown - Director of ProductionPaul Brown brings 30 years experience to his position as Director of Operations for ISMS.  His accomplishments in the mining industry include project management, and supervisory roles overseeing production, development, and the day-to-day operations of activities for mine sites with worldwide interests. 

A career miner, Paul Brown continually accepts increasingly challenging positions within the mining industry.  His dedication to employers such as High Country Mining, Barrick Gold Corporation, Faucett Mine Services, Dynatec, Mexgold Resources, and now ISMS, have resulted in considerable savings to the cost of production and more efficient processes.

Most recently Paul was part of the management team that successfully completed the development contract at Coeur Mexicana Palmarejo Project.  As a corporate consultant he assisted in doubling the yearly gold output at the Gammon Lake Resources El Cubo Mine located in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Paul provides leadership and organizational direction to mine operations, planning, and strategic thinking to identify problems and implement solutions.  His standards for quality control and safety have resulted in significant production increases for global mine development clients.


Clyde E. Williamson, Jr., Technical Advisor-Project Consultant

Clyde E. Williamson Jr. - Technical Advisor - Project ConsultantClyde Williamson is an experienced mining engineer with more than 25 years of professional achievement. He received a B.S. in mining engineering from the Mackay School of Mines in 1985. Clyde’s early career led him to South Africa where he gained practical underground mining experience and later became involved in rock mechanics.  During his career Clyde has gained significant planning and project management experience as well as skill in providing leadership to engineering teams.  Clyde served as Chief Engineer and Director of Underground Mine Planning for a large international mining company. After a brief sabbatical as a commercial fisherman in Alaska, Clyde returned to the industry as a private consultant offering services to mining companies with interests in Mexico and abroad.

Clyde Williamson has taken full advantage of his early education and work experience in the mining industry. His resume’ speaks to years of hard work and dedication early-on, quickly advancing to more senior roles within the industry.  His resume highlights contributions to:  BP-Amselco, Gold Fields of South Africa; Magma Copper Company; TVX Minerals; Barrick Gold Corporation; Ram Opportunities; and Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation.

Today, Clyde provides technical assistance and project consulting services to the ISMS Technical Services team.


Alfonso Coronado Flores, Director of Safety & Training

Alfonso Coronado-Flores - Director of Safety & TrainingAlfonso Coronado-Flores represents a multi-faceted career professional achieving successes in a variety of crucial roles.  The foundation of his career is built on his dedication to the safety of his employers and fellow mine site personnel.  Implementing jobsite safety procedures and policies, Alfonso commands extensive knowledge of safety, security, accident and incident reporting, occupational safety standards, and protection services.

A seasoned specialist in mine site safety, security and risk management, Alfonso has contributed to the success of companies such as Gammon Lake Resources and Wunderlich & Gladston (security solutions for the international mining industry), and Head of Security & Projection. He understands the importance of safety and production going hand in hand.

Alfonso oversees all safety, training and reporting activities throughout the ISMS enterprise.


Sara Fernandez Martinez, Business Administration Manager

Sara Fernandez-Martinez - Business Administration ManagerSara Fernandez Martinez is a professional business woman with more than 17 years practical experience in enterprise management and tax accounting. Sara’s contributions to the world of business and finance are evidence of her capacity to manage day-to-day operational activities while executing the required critical legal and financial procedures and responsibilities.

Sara Fernandez Martinez has provided executive support and tax accounting and payroll services to companies throughout Mexico, including: Minerales de Soyopa, SA DE CV; Tecnica Del Norte, SA DE CV; and Gammon Lake de Mexico, SA DE CV.

As a member of the ISMS Executive Team, Sara plays an important supporting management role as well as fully utilizing her two accounting degrees.

ISMS embraces the highest jobsite safety standards, reinforcing our message of “Safety and Production Go Hand In Hand” through regularly scheduled onsite training of all mine site personnel.  Our safety team and managing staff actively participate in performance and safety evaluations, carefully monitoring and diagnosing potential threats to our workforce and the surrounding mine environment.
